What is Movement Day UK?
WE EXIST to develop a strategic conversation using the Movement Day model in cities and towns in order to see more social, cultural and spiritual transformation across the UK.
MOVEMENT DAY UK is supporting cities and towns in hosting a long term Movement Day process that involves two distinct expressions: a Movement Day Gathering and a Movement Day Conversation to answer the question “What could your place look like in 15 years time?”.
Do you long to see the social, cultural and spiritual transformation of your town or city? Are you passionate about making a difference to the wellbeing of your community, being a peacemaker, a creative energizer, a cultural changer, a restorer of goodness, truth and beauty?
Be a part of a nationwide conversation based around the words of the prophet Jeremiah,
"Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have called you into. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

MD Teesside_A team from Sunderland came to Movement Day UK in London in 2017 and immediately knew this was the right next step for them. Since then Roger Sutton, Movement Day UK Director, has been working alongside the team to work towards their first Movement Day Gathering. They have begun with workshops designed to grow vision for the city and to begin to see where transformation can be brought through strategic, coordinated action.
